However, I would like to allow my customers the option of paying online or paying in store. Also, they need to be able to print out a receipt that states if the item was paid for or if a payment is due. Does anyone make anything simple, I don't have much coding experience. Quote

It would be convenient to have such an option, but it would need code to be added to the checkout shipping file (since this comes up first). If selected, the options for payment would be the same as as any other shipping method. I know of no contrib that does this, but would like this option for my own store. Quote

I want to allow customers to shop online but do an in store pick up. I would also like the option to let them pay for the in store pickup online or in store. Basiclly, our instore prices are a bit higher, and i wish to allow customers to shop online and get our web page prices but just come in and pick it up if they are local. It's a pain in the ass to have to stop what I'm doing with other customers to go look up prices for a customer who comes into the store asking for an online price match from out webpage. If they just shop online, they come come pick it up and I'll have ready to go invoice of what they bought etc. Quote
Guest Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I do not understand why you would need some specific payment module or payment module coding for this. You just use your store and maybe change the text in checkout success to explain the procedure to the customers. (ie bring the invoice from this order to receive your goods.......or something relevant). Along maybe with an extra page to explain it in your information box. You should have everything. If they decide to use say paypal or authorizenet then the order is complete. If they do COD say then they pay in store. It all goes to the invoice and processing the order status. For example instead of having "Pending" displayed with the invoice you could add some code to replace the "Pending" with "Will pay at the store" and so on. Quote
