grace4u Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I really need someone to tell me or show me how to put in subcatergories into my website. I go to my admin then categories but it doesn't show me how to add subcategories. Could someone please help.

Brunswick Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Hello Jon, This is my question also. I checked the knowledge base section you referred to but could find no reference to "sub-categories". I got the sinking feeling I should not have deleted the default categories before adding my own. Does this matter? Anyway, how do you add subcategories to a given category? I have created 7 new categories. Help! -Hank :'(
zefeena Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Hi, to make a subcategory, simply click on your chosen cetegory folder, this takes you into that folder. Then you can 'add aproduct' or create a category. A category created within a category is a subcategory. Hope that makes sense. Running a botched up version of osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4 bootstrap with the dresscode theme installed, numerous add-ons, terrible coding, terrible website, but will have to make do until I have made up for my losses and can risk shutting down for a couple of weeks while I start all over again. - I did not install my program but am endeavouring to fix it with your help.
