D2HP Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Long story short, I have a website that is almost ready to be up and running and I have been unable to make contact with the guy doing the work for a few months. He is an old highschool friend who was basically doing the work for free so I have a hard time being more than upset. The questions I have are these: 1. We own the domain name and I have been adding products to the OS site, how would I go about getting the site hosted by someone else? 2. Is this something that I can do since I have all the essentials already installed (credit card, pay pal, product)? I purchased a template last time that we made contact, it is installed and has most of the re-formatting completed I just need the site hosted. 3. I purchased a SSL certificate with the web hosting but do not have anything to reference back to. I am assuming that if I go with a different host I will need to buy another certificate? 4. Does OS have a support hotlins that I can contact? Please help, time is $$ these days. I just dont really know how to get the site published at this time. Thanks Dave

Thanks Dave 1 - You need to create an account with a hosting company and transfer your files and database. You will need access to your files and database to do this.2 - I don't understand the question. 3 - You can use the ssl you have as long as you have access to the files for it. 4 - No. Jack Support Links: For Hire: Contact me for anything you need help with for your shop: upgrading, hosting, repairs, code written, etc. All of My Addons Get the latest versions of my addons Recommended SEO Addons
