Problems with installation on a new server

Hallo,

 

I am using an old version of OSCommerce with many, many contrib. The shop is running in its current environment (PHP 4.4.6/MySQL 4.0.27-max) without any problem.

 

But: A few hours ago I have installed the same shop on a different server of a different provider. The new environment is: PHP 4.3.10-14.25.1.swsoft/MySQL 4.1.10a-3.6. And: Surprise! Surprise! There are problems, problems I haven't been able to solve by myself yet.

 

I am using a Multi-Shop-Conrib.: This Multi-Shop-Contrib. is using the database in order to generate the main page, e.g. the text shown on the main page of each shop-in-shop or to store the path to the pictures of these main pages. All paths are correct, the images are stored on the new server but 3 of the 8 stores-in-store cannot find the images. Consequently I looked up in the database in order to check whether everything is correct. But: the next strange thing: in phpMyAdmin the "pencil" symbol at the beginning of each data record has been disappeard. Instead there is only a question mark. There are other problems. But maybe I solve them one after the other.
