Guest
Hi, I am a newbie to osCommerce and have recently dowloaded it along with STS. I am quite good with html and also have used PHP before but I am really struggling in figuring our how to change the look of the main boxes I need in my store.. namely Categories and Cart. I have created the basic layout of the page which I have saved as the sts_template and this works fine but how do I edit the boxes to how I want them to look? Does anyone have any tips or ideas on how to do this, also are there any books or help sites which covers this topic that anyone knows of? There seems so may files that I really don't know where to look!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Daveed

Daveed Daveed, the best suggestion for tips and help would be to search the official STSv4 forum as well as post any questions you have there. The link is in the User Manual.Take a look at the STSv4 Power Pack link in my signature. You will find a Tips & Tricks download available. To modify your infoboxes, first you have to be sure you have changed the settings in the Default STS Module in the admin panel for "Use Infobox Templates = True". Then, in your sts_templates/my_templates/boxes folder you will find some sample infobox templates to start off with. The User Manual has more details on how to save the file names so that you can template either all your infoboxes using one template or custom templates for specific infoboxes. Have fun, Quote Bill Kellum Sounds Good Productions STS Tutorials & more: STSv4.6, STS Add-ons (STS Power Pack), STS V4 Forum STS Forum FREE TEMPLATE
