help with email (its not working)

To start off i dont have a clue how this is supposed to work..i want all mails to go treough my normal mail..my host has plesk and i have a info@mydomain mail adress there,,but i have to login to something called hord to check the mails there,,thats way to much of a hassle...

So how do i get all mails to go trough my normal mail..currently i have theese settings

 

email adress = *my normal mail*

email from = root@localhost

email transport method = smpt

email linefeeds = LF

MIME HTML = false

verify trough DNS = false

send emails = true

email linefeeds = LF

send emails = true

Do you have outlook or outlook express on your computer why not use one of those and download the info onto your computer?

 

It safe, fast and easy.

 

generally mailservers are something like. mail.yourdomain.com incoming and outgoing.

 

Thats what most do.

 

Also you can change where email goes in admin/configuration/ my store

hi,,i do have outlook express..how do i download the info,,and where do i apply that all mails goes trough outlook,,when someone uses contact us or whatever?I dont know where to put the info
