Guest
Hi, NEED HELP!!! I'm the store owner, not a programmer. I sell quilting products on the internet. I do not have an actual store. I vend at approximated 6-8 trade shows per year. Right now I am looking at POS system to help me track inventory that is sold at these trade shows. Right now I have to manually go into hundreds of items and update inventory (reduce it for quantities sold). I can by the hardware (new cash register, bar code reader..e.tc). I can create a spreadsheet that equates a product_id to sku (barcode); but HOW do I upload this sale info into OS Commerce? Could I create a 'customer' (the quilt show itself) and upload all sale info onto one invoice? Thus reducing inventory? Do I download originail inventory quantities, deduct sales and upload new inventory quantites? Anyone have ANY experience with a POS system AND OS commerce? I'd appreciate any info. Thanks so much! Great Post!Great price, too....cheaper than any of my templates!I couldn't figure out from any of the scant info though, if it interfaced with QuickBooks Pro or QB Store, or if all the accounting was laboriously managed by importing Excel......any ideas? I have a physical store as well and run TurboCash www.turbocash.net , it has a plugin for osCommerce, but I have just started on this process of combining the physical shop with the webshop. :-"
