Parse error when viewing main page

Hi Guys,

I am a total newbie to oscommerce and this forum and was wondering if any of you could offer me a little advice with my problem.

 

When I try and view my main catalogue page I get this error:

 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/sites/www.jewelleryfountain.co.uk/public_html/catalog/includes/column_left.php on line 34

 

I can only see the background and the banner - not the full template as normal.

 

Here is the bottom bit of the file it refers to:

include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'manufacturers.php');

}

 

require(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'whats_new.php');

?>

 

Any ideas?

erm I feel really silly now... :blush:

 

I backed up my file and just started playing with it to see if i could fix it (considering I've had the programme about 3 hrs I was a bit relectant to do this at first)

 

just found the error - theres a missing } on bottom line

 

just got 2 more errors to fix and I'm ready to roll... wish me luck - I might be back - lol
