jayeshshiyani Posted March 7, 2007 Share Posted March 7, 2007 my site is hosted on windows server and it doesn't allow me to set config file as ready only, does anyone have any idea how i can set the file as ready only on windows server? if not what the solution to get rid of that message?? i tried in langages/english/english.php and // i am able to write...... but this didnt work as i got another message saying WRITEABLE_FILE_CONFIG.PHP i got email problem too but seems like no1 can help on that as ive posted many times, I can launch my site as customers cannot sign up, and i dont recieve email nor do they, email functionality not working full stop. jonquil Posted March 7, 2007 Share Posted March 7, 2007 If you are unable to change by yourself permissions on the includes/configure.php admin/includes/configure.php files through either FTP or within your own hosting panel, call or email your hosting service to do this for you. jon It's all just ones and zeros....
