Guest Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Like everyone else I have received the error message.... Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory. Where is the php.ini file??? The .htaccess file is enabled. But I cannot find the php.ini file. Can someone help?

I need help ASAP or I will fail my business before starting! My provider doent allow lobal reg on as its security risk, and osc is developed on global reg on, i found a script which will disable this and you should be able to see your site etcc... have tried to attach it on this post if not recieved then try to search on google for osc reg global off....! All the best!!!
glamourfish Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 To rectify this, please modify the .htaccess file in your public_html directory, adding the line: php_flag register_globals on if at first you do succeed...try not to look surprised!
Guest Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 This is too much for me. This cart is a joke! What a waste of time trying just to set the bloody thing up. You think that they would of sorted this problem and added it in the download file of osCommerce. Thanx, but no thanx.
