nemiroff Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Dear all, recently, I don't know why, started to do not receive order emails and I tested to send a client email from admin side, but with no success I can't send. Probably, I suspect the reason(s) is from server side, maybe they wrote a filter for avoiding automated emails from websites. Do you know how can we solve this ? Here is the options for email from admin side; Any reply or any idea will be appreciated.
omar2886 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Ok, don't worry, I had this problem too. You just have to tell your hosters to reactivate your phpmailing function and then, all the e-mails pending to be sent, will be sent inmediately.
Guest Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 I was recently moved by my host onto a new server and just went through this- in an effort to catch and stop spammer's the new server no longer allows outgoing mail without smtp authentication. Your issue may be something else but, with so many server's changing over to this, I would definitely ask my host about it- if this is the problem there are a couple of contributions you can consider that will help.

I contacted with the host company, and they solved somehow. It is working now. If someone face this problem contact with your host by an email, 'caus on the phone it is not easy to describe the problem and find the right person.
sviz Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Hello all, I am facing the same problems as above and i have contacted my host. However, they ran this test mail thing and it shows that the SMTP is enabled. And mentioned that there is nothing got to do with the host. My emails were working just fine for a few months but it just stopped working suddenly! It is not sending any email to me and my customers. I didn't make any changes to my php config, only to the \catalog\includes\language\english.php to change some appearance of my left bar. Could someone please help me with this? My website can't function without sending the emails. :( Thank you so much..
