diy
Dont know if thiw helps. when i get into admin using GREEK all are fine when I get to the admin side in ENGLISH greek characters are not showing!! Just tested it when i make a new category and i am in admin in ENGLISH i get thiw &$# characters, works fine in GREEK Another is that when i get into a product description again in admin using English greek characters look funny BUT ALSO if i change the product the products descriptionw looks fummy on the browser, if I copy and paste a greek document it looks ok The obvious solution is add products when using admin in greek! By viewing page source i get that admin in english has charset iso-8859-1 and admin in Greek has iso-8859-7!! From where do I change character setting for the admin????? PS BTW i am using fckeditor for products description, is this a problem of FCKeditor or a genaral one???
diy
Just tested it on a TEST offline site!! Went to admin/includes/languages/english.php and changed charcet to define('CHARSET', 'iso-8859-7') (while you are at it change date format to the European format) and the greek charactrers look ok. however if you add products and categories through admin in Greek you are ok Under admin in english greek product descriptions may look funny but they look ok on the browser (still dont know why fckeditor gives funny characters maybe its because when they say that WYSIWYG they trully mean it)
