Uploading with Easy Populate from CSV files

Recommended Posts

I need to fill my store with all of my products, but it will take several days to manually input all of my data. I have all of my data in TurboLister CSV files (Excel). Can I upload these into OSCommerce using Easy Populate? If so, which version would I use? I see many different versions and it looks like some do different things than others.

Any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Marty

i also need this information.

come on community!!

thanks in advance!

According to different posts, version 2.76d should be doing the trick. I say "should be" because I too am struggling to get it working. My problem is that this version does a perfect download to the temp directory , but when I make changes/adjustments, save the file in a tab delimited format and want to upload it to the DB, none of the changes or new products appear.

You would need to use 2.76D. However, it won't upload files that come directly from a distributor. You will need to convert it to the format Easy Populate expects first.
