Layout Help

Recommended Posts

OSC has its own stylesheet but since it relies heavily on tables it is a bit more work than say Wordpress. Once you know what you're doing, you can easily modify the basic layout within a week.

I suggest you setup a test OSC shop in some other server and do the layout there. At first, it might seem overwhelming but trust me you'll get over it rather fast.

One last suggestion, converge all the <html> + header <head>(css, js, etc)</head> into one file. By Default they are all in separate files and if you have to add something new like an icon style, u have to go through all of the 30+ php pages. also, change doc type to something like XHTML transitional. Trust me it will save you from a lot of headaches when making all browser-compatible pages.
