Guest Posted October 15, 2002 Posted October 15, 2002 site.com/admin localization ---> Languages You can add or remove any language sets there that you may or may not need. The default one has a "default" in bold next to it.
raul Posted October 16, 2002 Author Posted October 16, 2002 I've done that (in admin). And I my language is set as default and still guests see the english version of the page.
jensl1972 Posted October 16, 2002 Posted October 16, 2002 Hi there! Doesn't it change when you click on anything? Mine does but I would like to know if it is possible to insert somekind og refresh command so that the default language show on page load Jens Lorentsen
raul Posted October 16, 2002 Author Posted October 16, 2002 Sure it does. But it's not what i'm looking for. I need my default laguage at the start.
jensl1972 Posted October 17, 2002 Posted October 17, 2002 Hi Raul! At my shop the default language shows correctly, until someone logs in. Then the problem appears. I was thinking that it might have something to to with the userprofile. My knowledge of PHP is not very big, but maybe experimenting can help or someone from the forum. I will get back to you if/when I find an answer. Jens Lorentsen
Mark Evans Posted October 17, 2002 Posted October 17, 2002 when guest are comming the language is english, not my default. What language do your users have set as their default browser language??? The reason I ask is that oscommerce will try to detect the users default language and use that rather than the store default. If the store does not have the users language enabled in the store then they will see the default language. jensl1972 Posted October 18, 2002 Posted October 18, 2002 Hi Raul! How do you forward? What am I to write in which file? Thanx in advance Jens Lorentsen
