chrisytsma Posted March 6, 2007 Share Posted March 6, 2007 I want to be able to advertise one price but show another price in my cart. Manufacturers set a Mandatory Advertising Price (MAP). That is the price that you must advertise at. So having a seperate price for those items in my store with a MAP, I can technically get around the MAP. I have successfully added a new column to my products table names "products_price_cart". I have editted my admin/categories.php page to allow me to enter the Cart Price. But the hard part comes when I need to display the price in the cart and change checkout so that it calculates order totals based on the products_price_cart, not the products_price. I basically wanted some input and possible help before I attempt to tackle this as I dont want to F anything up in my live store. Thank you!!
