di11on Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Hi folks, My site (www.woodentoys.ie) is showing up in first place for my chosen keywords on google.ie but doesn't show up anywhere on Google.co.uk. How does it work? I'm assuming that sites from the same domain as the google site you are searching from, get ranked higher. Does a .ie site have any chance of getting ranked on Google.co.uk? My next question is this, would it help at all (or harm) if I purchase a .co.uk domain and have it redirect to my site? Will the .co.uk site get ranked? Or, is the only option to make a copy of my site on a .co.uk domain? I hope this is clear - apologies if it sounds confusing! Thanks folks, Di11on

Thanks folks, Di11on If you get another domain name, Google and Yahoo will only index 1 page, and MSN won't list it. I wouldn't waste your money. But, that's my opinion.
