lbcampagna
I'm looking for the latest recommendations for securing the admin pages. T My check out process is using SSL (it works by updating the configure.php file), however I process credit cards offline, so I have to log in to the admin section and view the credit card details. I need to secure that information. I tried the following contribution: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ry/search,75543 It works, and passes all info via ssl in the admin area except when I go to upload comments for an order it doesn't upload the comments and sets the order value to "0" removing it from my list of orders. I had to go into the data base tables and set the value back to "1" in order to view the order again. Looking for the latest suggestions for securing the admin area so I can view credit cards details safely. thanks, Leonard
jasonabc
Using SSL is only scratching the surface of the security you need to store numbers. This should be avoided at all costs.
