just put it in invoice.php, where you want the number to appear

Yes..but when i put the <?php echo ENTRY_ORDER_NUMBER; ?> <?php echo $oID; ?>

in there it doesnt work

Until I saw the code I didn't realise it was so heavily modified. the snippet I gave is used in my own customised invoice.php.

I tried to install and use yours on my test server, but it threw up a few errors ... no doubt due to missing elements on my machine.

If it has never worked (in so far as the Order No is concerned) then it may be to do with the application of the Contribution (if one was used) ... what contribution did you use ?

In the file you posted find this code:

<?php echo INVOICE_TEXT_INVOICE; ?>

replace it with

<?php echo INVOICE_TEXT_INVOICE . $HTTP_GET_VARS['order_id']; ?>

help with fancy invoice
