Customizing the Breadcrumb Trail?

I have tried to eliminate all references to /index.php on my website. It's better for search engines if you just have the main page.

 

example: http://www.jassepaintball.com is better than .com/index.php

 

Does anyone know how to get the breadcrumb to eliminate either the HOME or CATALOG words?

 

I would like it to simply say Home>>Paintball Guns, etc.

 

I want to ELIMINATE Home>>CATALOG>>Paintball Guns
