jeana Posted October 15, 2002 Posted October 15, 2002 Sometimes my order emails come thru with the line items all run together like this: 1 x Antique Handi Hostess Kit-Very old (Jlot32) = $5.00 1 x Older Matching Necklace and Earrings-15inches long (Zlot22) = $5.00 1 x Older Screw Type Earrings-Nice looking! Bell Shape (Jlot74) = $3.00 1 x Old Brouches-all shapes-faux stones-from the 50's (Jlot13) = $5.00 1 x Older Easter Bunny Pez Dispenser-unopended-pink base (Rlot22pez) = $2.00 Instead of hard retruns being inputted like this: 1 x Antique Handi Hostess Kit-Very old (Jlot32) = $5.00 1 x Older Matching Necklace and Earrings-15inches long (Zlot22) = $5.00 1 x Older Screw Type Earrings-Nice looking! Bell Shape (Jlot74) = $3.00 1 x Old Brouches-all shapes-faux stones-from the 50's (Jlot13) = $5.00 1 x Older Easter Bunny Pez Dispenser-unopended-pink base (Rlot22pez) = $2.00 Now I'm sure this is a simple fix, but I can't seem to find the file that generates this email....can someone please point me in the right direction? Jeana
Guest Posted October 15, 2002 Posted October 15, 2002 I think that's a problem with your email formatting selection. In your admin CP, do you have the "Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails" set to false? If you set it to true and the client's email doesn't parse HTML, then you will get scrambled text like that. Configuration --> Email Options --> Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails
Guest Posted October 15, 2002 Posted October 15, 2002 Sheesh... third double post today. We seriously need to be able to edit our own posts. The answer to your question about what files are needed for this are. admin/includes/functions/general.php (sends the email) admin/includes/languages/english/order_status.php (test displayed in the email sent)
