someone has gone to submit there link they have place mine on theres

 

but there link does not show on mine

 

 

do i have to create cats

 

 

 

or should it just list if there is none

Try this ... go into your links manager via admin ... and add the link yourself ... you will fill out the form will all the required details.

 

Perhaps they didn't click submit or something odd like that.

 

Then, if the link still doesn't appear in your /links.php page, create a category and try again. However, I have seen links directly on links.php pages, without having to go into categories.

 

And also just double check you have installed the contribution precisely according to all the steps in the instructions.

 

If none of that works, and you still have the same problem, try posting your situation in the Links Manager support thread. Jack is very good at replying back.

I have some advice for you on linking. I have not found a good contribution for OSC that will do what I need it to do. I use PHPld directory software. It is pretty robust and gives you a lot of options.

 

It also looks very appealing. You can easily download templates and create categories and it has a great admin panel.

 

I just added it to my store so it looks like www.site.com/directory/. Very easy install and superior linking software.

 

Check it out and give your opinioin. I tried the stuff available for OSC and was interested in using it for a recip. link campaign. It was not easy at all but phpld is very easy.
