Hi,

I have added in 3 forms on this website below and wanted to know how to add the information and add up the total price to the shopping cart once a customer clicks on the "BUY NOW" button.

Here are the 3 urls for the forms for each product:

http://www.puttinonthebead.com/catalog/silver.php

http://www.puttinonthebead.com/catalog/gold.php

http://www.puttinonthebead.com/catalog/sterling.php

Thanks for any info!

go to your admin panel and click on catalog

you'll find the product attributes function listed on the left hand side of the screen .... its quite a straightforward process ... but it may be advisable to look at the oscommerce documentation for a bit of guidance.

there may even be an easy populate contribution but I'm not sure about that.

John k,

I just checked out the products attributes function.

All it does is put the options in a row next to the product in no special order. I would like it to have

them be able to pick their birthstone then say how many they want for each. And the first 3 stones are free but how do I make it add in a cost for 4 or more birthstones?

Any help appreciated,

Terri

oops ... double post

Hey JK,

Are you back from eating your lunch?

If so, I am having a problem figuring out how to make a drop down menu to choose from. Ultimately I want it set up like this and can't seem to figure it out in the admin area:

Gold or Silver? <--- drop down menu

Choose Birthstone(s) <---- window where they can highlight as many as they want with a "qty" box for them to fill in how many. And the first 3 birthstones are free but after that it will cost 1.00 per stone.

Do you know how to set up this kind of attributes?

Thanks,

Terri
