JennaR Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Hi there, I'm really desperate and hoping for help: I have a shop that has been running smoothly for a couple of months. Now today it suddenly doesn't work anymore. Admin is OK, but catalog won't open at all. If you wait long enough, you get message: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/***/public_html/catalog/includes/functions/general.php on line 1256. That line is in tep_get_ip_address function. I haven't done any changes to that function, or actually ANY files in a log time. And I don't use any IP-address related contibutions, witch might have something to do with that. And I checked that that function is just the same as in newest clean osC milestone. AND the ISP just says that claims that there must be some security flaw in the code that causes this problem. I have been "Googleing" for the whole morning and searched through this forum, but found nothing similar. Please help :'( ! Thank you, you wonderful people in advance! Jenna R
JennaR Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 Ok, after some panicing and lots of headache, I decided to try one more time. I sent one really old general.php -file to the server - and tadaa! - shop was alive again. Then I found out that despite the error message, actually it wasn't the ip-related function that broke everything, but this contibution code that is supposed to show more that one product in an infobox. I have no idea, why it worked for so many weeks and THEN broke, but I'm happy, that the shop is saved. Now I'll try to fix that infobox-random-images -code... Thaks for every one anyway :-). Jenna R
