griffin12000 Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I have had my site up, however I had an old one similar to my new one on a different server. I took he old database files and copied them to the proper areas of the database. I also made sure line for line that notheing was different..... I have simply added approx 500 items to the data base... when I go to restore the data base i get the following error.. 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '')' at line 1 insert into categories (categories_id, categories_image, parent_id, sort_order, date_added, last_modified) values ('117', 'powertools.gif', '114', '0', '2006-01-24 18:58:47', NULL'); [TEP STOP] I reinstall oscommerce.sql and put in the original database... it woks fine... why cant i bring in the old products from the old database if they are the same....????
