But I need to know how to setup these things: my gmail e-mail address so when someone makes an account etc they will get an email. Also how can I personalize the shipping options? Cheers ;)

schnibles Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 Ok the thing is I use a free webhost & they don't supply a e-mail address so I need to use my gmail one. Where do I enter all the settings etc? Where can I choose what shipping types I want e.g standard post etc?
bkellum Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Is anyone able to help me? ThanksI answered your question above. Your free host has nothing to do with setting up your email address to work with your store. As long as it is a valid email address it will work. Select "Configuration" from the first menu in your store's admin panel... Select the "E-Mail Address" row and then click on the "edit" button to the right. Add your valid email address. Now, in the far left menu you will see "E-Mail Options". Click on it and then make sure the bottom option "Send E-Mails" is set to true. Do the above and you will be sending emails from your store.
