Accept registrations only from those with e-mail addresses from a certain place

Hi,

 

I was wondering how I would go about limiting customer registration to people whose e-mails end in a certain website, ie only those from yahoo.com (eg [email protected],) and no one else.

 

Is there a contribution that does this? I imagine the code to edit would be fairly simple, I'm just not sure where to start.

 

Also, is there a way to require activation via e-mail before one can use their account? I seem to remember osCommerce being able to do this, but I can't find the option anywhere.
