When is orders_date_finished used

Hi,

 

I can't find anywhere in the application where orders_date_finished is updated. Obviously I am muissing something, but what?

 

I also need to know where I would find the value for the date the order was confirmed (ie payment was received)... for the invoice

I just noticed that the shipping cost field is missing from the orders table (it is shown in the PDF database structure, but is not in the table on my server).

 

I suppose that this has been discontinued?

I found shipping in the orders_totals table. But, contrary to orders_products, no VAT rate is shown. Where is the VAT rate that was applied to the shipping costs stored in the database (if atall)?
