plagued with simple shipping problem for 2.1

Hello...a couple of quick questions i can't seem to get answered in the forum. I am trying to charge simple shipping as such...

 

up to 6 pounds $3.50

up to 14 pounds $7.50

15 pounds or over $14.00

 

Unfortunately i have version 2.1. Can you please help me find a way to make this happen:) Do i have to have version 2.2 to run zones.php? Or is there another way to have this work.

When you order a part for example. I only want it to charge $3.50. I have used the UPS module to get the price down to $4 and change, but we don't ship ups for these small parts. Even if i can change the wording on it...

 

from this...

 

Shipping Option 2 UPS GND 1 X 3 $4.55USD

 

to this...

 

Shipping Option 2 Best way Options 2 $4.55USD

 

I would rather change the wording then have to reinstall the whole cart in upgrading to version 2.2. Thnaks for your help, Eric

Do you want to have different prices when shipping to different countries or are you shipping to just 1 country??

 

If you are only shipping to 1 country then you could use the table shipping method. If not then you would need to reverse engineer the zones module to work with 2.1.
