radders Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 (edited) Serbia and Montenegro Since June 2006, the state formerly known as "Serbia and Montenegro" has been two separate countries: Serbia, 2-letter code RS, 3-letter code SRB Montenegro, 2-letter code ME, 3-letter code MNE Following technical changes agreed by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in December 2006, Serbia and Montenegro are now established as two separate and distinct postal entities For the addressing of postal items, customers should, as appropriate, enter either "Serbia" or "Montenegro" as the country name.For information, postcodes in Serbia are in the range 10000 - 37999; postcodes in Montenegro are in the range 80000 - 87999 (extracted from information posted on royalmail.com) Edited March 3, 2007 by radders Quote
