karissal
Hi! It's been a little while since I worked with oscommerce and I have a client who has some complicated shipping needs. I'd love it if somebody could take a look at her needs below and recommend a way to achieve this on her site. Thanks sooooooo much! :) Here's what she says - I charge $4.05 for a flat rate Priority Mail envelope in which I can fit up to 5 yards of fabric in (for US customers). If they purchase 6-20 yards of fabric I ship it in a $8,10 Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. For international clients, shipping is $5.25 for up to 2 yards in a small Global Priority Flat Rate Envelope or Up to 5 yards in a Large Global Flat Rate envelope ($7.50 for canada) $9.50 for other countries. Not all countries accept the global flat rate mail so I have to specify that in the shipping module. I only ship via Priority Mail flat rate envelope, or box or global flat rate envelopes. Can the shipping be set up that way? I'm just not sure how that will work since other products end up weighing more than the fabric but I can fit about 300 of some products (6 packs) in a $4.05 flat rate envelope but it weights more than what the fabric (up to 5 yards) would weight that I could fit in a $4,05 flat rate envelope. Know what I mean? Do you think the USPS module is best? Thank you!!! -Karissa
