How to display one product on main page?

Dear All,

 

I add one product to my store every day.

 

I would like to display the newest product's product details (not the format of product_listing, but as displayed as product_info) on th emain page, with the big picture.

 

Which contributions can I merge or do you have suggestions for a code to find the newest 1 product and display its product info.
