Cart Button Options

I want to be able to add more options in my shopping cart other than just QTY. before my customers check out. Can anyone assist me in how to accomplish adding more cart options/buttons to my site?

hi - I think I have same question...I'd like to add a button for a gift wrap option during check out process, and in the future I may offer monogramming...how to? ps- i am a newbie too! thanks!
