Can't change protx settings

Hi, i am using protx as my payment gateway, although after installing it i can't change any of the settings in the protx module of the admin area, i want to change to server ip test as my payments aren't working and it is just having none of it. Any ideas? Also i am getting an error message when trying to process a payment, "Couldn\'t create a transaction (VRTXInvalidIPAddress, ) - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct any information and try again or contact us for further assistance." although i have given protx two ip addresses to use.
