Problem with admin access contr.

Hi guys, this is my first post

 

I have installeed clean the newest milestone and added patch files for working with register_globals off (was working great),

after that I was trying to add this contribution - Admin_Access_22a, I have applied all changes mannualy but it is not working.

When I am trying go to my_domain/admin the page can not be found - error 404.

 

What have I done wrong?

What would you recommend to secure admin catalog in new milestone to work with register_globals off?

Not sure about the contra...knowing if the contra was installed correctly or weither their is a flaw in the contra...But you can quicly secure your sit by changing the catalog/admin (admin)

dir to another name and making the name change in your catalog/admin/includes/configure.php...This will hide your path to the admin and if you doin't

tell anyone then that is a first level security response...If your admin contra doesn't work you

can use apaches/.haccess secure admin login...you can do this through cpanel which should be provide on through your host provider...
