Need help with admin password

Hi, I got my shop build by someone, and now that he'd left the project, I would like to change the password to my admin login. The problem is that I have little knowledge of php or html and am leery of making any changes that could, well, f*** up things for me. SO, if you could help me, AND explain thing the easy way, that'd be great. I checked posts on admin login on this forum, and I couldn't follow them.

hi

depending on how your hosting is set up

if you can access your cpanel

click on

Password Protect Directories

you will see admin folder

click on admin folder

and you can change your password from there
