paolo81 Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Hi all im new to osCommerce and PHP, im more of a c++ programmer, but i would like to try this. I installed WAMP, and dream weaver, and i would like to run the osCommerce project from my pc using WAMP . Any help would be appreciated Thnx!!
paolo81 Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 After i posted my last question, i was able to run the project . I had to turn register globals on from my PHP settings. I was able to see the index.php page and the install button. Now my question is do i need to create a db in phpmyadmin and what should be in it and does it need a specific name? Thnx

Thnx Just create the db with no info named anything you like as long as your user can write to it :) Iggy Everything's funny but nothing's a joke...
Guest Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 As mentioned above... just create the database, then when you run the installation, osCommerce will create the database tables - neat huh?
