Guest Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Didn't have time to go through it much, but there's at least one thing you SHOULD fix: The image sizes. Loading pictures that are 500 kB on the front page is not a good idea. There are modules oput there that resizes them automatically... you should check those out :)
thesolidstore Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 Erik , thanks for the advice , i will fix it asap , thank you !!
Andrew Yuen Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I don't think frames are a good idea. Here are some reasons why: Many search engines cannot index framed sites. If a search engine does manage to spider your site, visitors from search engines may land on the content pages, rather than the full-framed version Bookmarking specific pages of your site is very hard to do. Many people find frames annoying. There are page printing issues. Scroll bars and divider bars are unsightly and overall make for a bad design. There are just a handful of reasons why not to use frames. Andrew Yuen osCommerce, Community Team
modulate Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Not too keen on having to close a 'Bravenet' window after.
Guest Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 if one purchased multiple items, he / she might need to fill in the form more than once, which is a bit ...... you may perhaps consider using the original OSC shopping cart function.
