Install warning - Mysql_fetch_array

When I installed version 2.1 on RH 7.2 running mysql-3.23.41-1 with php-4.1.2-7.2.4 - I'm getting the following warning..

 

 

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 39

 

any idea?
