Uploading to Godaddy Hosting

Hi, I am using a Shop Template based on Oscommerce. I tested the system locally using Easyphp and it worked fine. What I need is some instructions on what, how and where to upload and set it up online. I am using Godaddy as hosting which unfortunately does not use cpanel. There are no www or public_html folders in the root directory. They could have been there before I deleted old site from server but in the backup they are not listed. What should I do and what to put where? I ll appreciate your help as a beginner in this field.

Thanks

Guzi

You use a ftp client like FileZilla. Along with your domain name, User Name and Password you just ftp. That is all there is to it.

http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla

The Host Name is www.yoursite.com

Port is 21

server type is ftp

user

password

connect, boom, drag and drop to upload, Life could not be so easy.

You have set up your database in the control pannel, have you not?

Yeah that s ok for me. I m using cuteftp but I do not know which files and folders to upload to hosting (from those I have created on hardisk) and in what folders do I have to put them into the server because godaddy does not cpanel for admin.
