viveknarula
Hi, I want to include gift vouchers in my osCom site. The functionality for that is we plan to sell vouchers for the website, so as an example, you could buy a $50 gift voucher for you so when you wants you can use the voucher to buy a product on the site. For this reason we need to get the issued vouchers No. at the shopping cart or checkout time. and the user can get the specified discount or voucher amount Is there any contribution for this or having similarities with above said functionality ? Thanks
viveknarula
i have found contribution for my above mentioned problem but still i am not able to get it. I have found CCGV5.18 Contributions as it is not working properly or i am not understanding well. It is showing the redeem text box and button at the payment page after the checkout. But not able to find it in the frontpages for sale as an product. i have added the vocuhers from the admin panel. I have seen the FAQ link after installing the contributions. it is showing the 5-6 steps that are quite same to my requirement. but somehow not able to understand how it will work even the first step (how to purchase.) I am hitting my head against a wall pls help me out of it as it is very urgent. Pls help Vivek
JimbobobHacker
At the mercy of a stranger for free and timely tech support? Too bad! The CCGV conrtibution is rough at the moment. You might want to see "instructions to use", posted 2006-Nov-8 by muriziomagnino. More importantly, read install.html from CCGV5.14 posted 2005-Jul-22. You might also consider searching for oscmax, which is a fork of oscommerce that has CCGV pre-integrated.
