emalrola Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 I usually develop bespoke websites using php/javascript/perl etc. However, I have a prospective client who wants a very complex ecommerce site and I don't see the point of reinventing the wheel, so am thinking of using osCommerce However, I am a little confused.... Do I HAVE to put a link/credit to oscommerce on the site? Thanks

Thanks This is from the osCommerce copyright policy: The osCommerce copyright announcement displayed on the Catalog module of osCommerce can, however, be modified, and even removed, if the layout of the site theme has been modified to distinguish itself from the default osCommerce-copyrighted theme. jasonabc Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 In addition to Richard's post - I would also add this (from the copyright section of osc.com) "Please note that the osCommerce Administration Tool copyright announcement must still exist regardless if the default osCommerce-copyrighted Administration Tool theme has been modified."
