open_basedir restriction in effect

Hello all!

 

I've just installed osCommerce first time. After succesfull installation i try to change to the admin for configuration.

in this case the following error message occurs:

 

Warning: session_save_path() [function.session-save-path]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/srv/www/htdocs/weba40/html/:/srv/www/htdocs/weba40/phptmp/:/srv/www/htdocs/weba40/files/:/srv/www/htdocs/weba40/atd/) in /srv/www/htdocs/weba40/html/quaces/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 110

 

What did that mean? What's wrong?

Look at this earlier posting. It sounds like you are on a shared server. Do what it says here and it usually works. Think its a script trying to do something which it is not supposed to be doing.
