Guest Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Hi, I have a question for the moderators. I would like to make a contribution that uses some files that I have prepared for osC, and some that are not osC-specific and that will be available for download, also for persons who don't use osC, on my server. If it's possible, I would like to keep only one download source for the last version of the files that are not osC-specific because this way I wouldn't have to keep them synchronised each time I make a new version. So is it acceptable for you if in the contribution I include (of course) the osC-specific files, and for the others I write something like "..and download this file here.." wiith an url where the download would start immediately. Thanks DW Quote
Guest Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 ...or maybe more simply I'll host it on my server (it's a blog contribution), where it has to be anyway because the contribution will contain a link to download the non-osC version as well (those who see the page don't necessarily use osC...) and I'll leave a message on the Contribution Announcements forum...any suggestion is welcome... Thanks DW Hello DW, No, I am afraid that is not possible. All sources need to be GPL and available on our servers. Maybe you can just make a whole package and with the installation instructions tell which ones are to be used and relevant for osC. regards, Howard Quote
