I need a way to use the "credit card" feature and not have another option and let the credit card feature use another merchant and process the card... guess that will not work.... Any Suggestions? -Doug

You could copy the "money order" module and call it Google Checkout in the payment options, in which the order would come through as it would if it were a money order. Then just manually invoice the customer through the Google Checkout's manual payment method. In this case, simply change the text in the money order code that normally says "Please send a check to blah...blah... blah" to " you could say "I'll send you a Google Checkout invoice within 24 hours". The only issue I can see with this is that the customers login email address on the website may not be the same as their Google Checkout address. To resolve this, perhaps an extra field could be added to the checkout process within the above mentioned blue text that says "enter your Google email address". Then invoice them through Google checkout using that address. But then - what would be the point ? Just to be able to use their service ?

Any Suggestions? -Doug Google Checkout terms and conditions require it to be an alternative means to checkout not just a payment mechanism. That's why it's on the shopping cart page.
