Saturday FedEx shipping

My website obviously captures orders 24/7/365, but we don't perform any shipping activities on Saturday/Sunday. If my customer enters an order on Saturday, the website FedEx contribution rates the shipment as if it'll ship immediately, and smacks a Saturday Pickup surcharge ($12) onto the customer's quoted freight options.


I have many abandoned carts on Saturdays because of this perceived high shipping rate. Is there a contribution or method to roll Saturday quotes onto the following Monday so my customers see normal shipping rates and actually complete their transactions?
