tsb2482 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I am attempting to use the STS contrib. Where I disconnect in after I download it off the contrib and it pops up as a Winzip file. I see all the pretty things that are the contrib file. When I open the instructions, it says "3) Copy all the new files to your store: copy the files from the folder "new_files/catalog" over your catalog." I don't see a file call "new_files/catalog in the list of files that came up with the Winzip! That is as far as I get with any contrib because the instructions haven't been super simplified that is explains what the very FIRST step is to adding a contrib to an existing site. On top of that...am I suppposed to add this entire winzip file to my server? Is that where the shop is directed to look for the data? Or am I to save it to my harddrive. I have over 5 contrib files saved to both and I can't get any of them to work. Someone PLEASE help me. I have a nice catalog of data (which I manually entered because I couldn't get the first step of the upload tool for entering in data as well to work). Sorry if I sound upset but I figured with all the information in these forums, I should have figured this out by now. I appreciate any and all help. Quote
