HSMagic
After running into much problems with "graphical borders" I grew tired of restoring the backup after every failed attempt also knowing that my live store was down for those minutes. I'm sure others have done this and can warn me of any potential pitfalls. Can I upload the full store to a new directory say "/testcatalog" make the changes in config to reflect the change in that test store and go about doing my damage without worry of killing the database? HSMagic
That was fun! EasyPHP is running.. I figured out how to duplicate my database on the local machine. Been playing with the configure.php files to try to make it work. The store is visible, enough so that I could play with graphical borders, but nothing really works properly, can't access admin at all. Having already done this.. any tips? Here's the admin error: Warning: include(includes/languages/english/) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Program Files\EasyPHP 2.0b1\www\catalog\admin\includes\application_top.php on line 133 Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening 'includes/languages/english/' for inclusion (include_path='.;C:\PROGRA~1\EASYPH~1.0B1\\php5\pear\') in C:\Program Files\EasyPHP 2.0b1\www\catalog\admin\includes\application_top.php on line 133 Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in C:\Program Files\EasyPHP 2.0b1\www\catalog\admin\includes\classes\upload.php on line 31 Now I'm committed to this!
