Quick Find not Working

I am having a problem where my quick find works on the main page, but from any product pages. When I hit go all it does it bring up the same page again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, I can't recreate that error, your quick find works fine for me either from the main page or any given product page... I tested it by just hitting enter after entering some search text, and by clicking on the Go button itself...

if you try doing it from a product page it works, but from a category it doesn't like here.

goto your osc admin->configuration->Use Search engine friendly urls. Set it to false and retry. If you want some paths/html names with your links try one of the seo contributions.
