erniethemilk
I've tried to make an SSL modification to my site today by changing a couple of files, uploaded them and found it hasn't worked properly. I get the warning message displayed 'able to write to the config file' Despite trying to change the permissions on my FTP and uploading the original pre-changed files, I can't seem to rid myself of the message.... :( Any help please....not sure what else to do! This isn't an error with any of the files you modified, it's an error with the configure.php file being set as writeable, rather than read-only... If you modified your config file and re-uploaded it, that may be why, it might have reset the permissions on it when you overwrote the old one... All you need to do is set that file back to read-only to make this error go away... Richard. Richard Lindsey
